Registered Nurse
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional member of the health care team who provides skilled nursing care to patients in compliance with the Michigan Public Health Code and within the standards of clinical practice as defined by the American Nurses’ Association and the policies and procedures of the agency. The RN is responsible for the total nursing care of all assigned patients
Required Qualifications and Skills

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the state of practice.

Must have a minimum of one year of recent experience in an acute care facility as a staff nurse and a minimum of six (6) months of experience and/or additional training for private duty.

Must have at least three (3) satisfactory references from previous employers.

Must have successfully completed RN/LPN Skills Assessment and Medication with a score of 75% or better. If working in a specialty field, documentation of the skills and certifications must be provided.

Must possess and maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Must display good emotional health and be able to tolerate physically challenging work including standing, stooping, bending, and heavy lifting.

Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision and have good observational/nursing judgment and communication skills.
Licensed Practical Nurse/
Licensed Vocational Nurse
Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) works under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and is responsible for the complete bedside care of all assigned patients, with in the scope of Nurse Practice Regulations if the State Board of Nurses’ Association, and the policies and procedures of the agency. The LPN/LVN is responsible and accountable for making decisions and providing care according to these regulations
Required Qualifications and Skills

Graduate of an accredited LPN program and currently licensed in the state of practice.

Must have experience in an acute care facility.

Must have three (3) satisfactory references from previous employers.

Must have successfully completed the RN/LPN skills assessment test with a score 75% or better.

Must possess and maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Must exhibit professional behavior, display good emotional health, and be able to tolerate physically challenging work including standing, stooping and heavy lifting.
Nurse Aide
Job Summary
The Nurse Aide/Orderly/Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is a paraprofessional member of the healthcare team who works under the supervision of a licensed nurse to perform basic nursing care tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Must have completed an approved nurse aide training program and meet all Michigan regulatory laws on certification.

Must have six (6) months of acute care experience.

Must have successfully completed the Nurse Aide Skills Assessment, test with a score of 65% or better.

Must have three (3) satisfactory references.

Must be able to read, write, and follow written instructions and document care given.

Must be self-directed and be able to work with little direct supervision.

Must possess Aden maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Should demonstrate patience, tact and good personal hygiene.
Home Health Aide
Job Summary
The Home Health Aide is a paraprofessional member of the healthcare team who works directly under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and performs various services for the patient/client.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Must be a least 18 years old and have a minimum of eighth grade education.

Must have a minimum of one year work experience as an aide (preferable in the home care setting)

Must have successfully completed a Home Health Aide Skills Assessment

Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision

Must have three (3) satisfactory references.

Must display good emotional health and be able to tolerate physically challenging work including standing, stooping, bending, and heavy lifting.

Must be able to read, follow written instructions, and document care given.

Must demonstrate patience, tact and good personal hygiene.

Should demonstrate flexibility and a cooperative attitude in accepting assignments and providing services.
